Lately, I have been obsessed with these Mansur Gavriel Handbags. I think the circle bag is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of a vintage hat box...which if you follow me on Pinterest, you know how much I love vintage fashion. These handbags are absolutely stunning! If I ever have the opportunity to purchase one, I would love to get the circle bag in blush pink!

Hi everyone! Recently, I have been loving everything about the classic trench coat. It's a staple every preppy girl (or any girl for that matter) should invest in. It can be dressed up or down and worn for almost any occasion. My personal favorite is pairing it with pearls, black and white stripes, jeans and flats for a more Parisian chic look. Hope you enjoy!
Did you know there is a certain way to tie your trench coat belt? Me neither! Check out this helpful diagram I found on Pinterest.

Hi everyone! Here are some of my all-time favorite makeup products! You will notice that I do not have any eyeliner or eye shadow listed. I usually only wear those for special occasions and try to keep my makeup routine more streamlined for my everyday look. (Usually because sleep wins the battle over makeup) :-)
Under Eye Concealer: For years, I have struggled with dark circles under my eyes. I have tried about every concealer there is, but I am often disappointed at how caked-on most under eye concealer looks. This Lancome Under Eye Concealer is the ticket. It is a light weight formula that helps cover up my dark circles without being too thick. A little bit goes a long way, which is an added bonus because one tube will last a long time!
Foundation: It has taken years to find the perfect powder foundation. Typically, most women use a liquid foundation with powder applied on top. I personally think that is too much and my face looks painted on when I do that. I love the Chanel Le Teint Ultra Flawless Compact Foundation. It is like a powder/liquid foundation hybrid! The Chanel sales woman at Nordstrom filled me in on a little secret...it can be applied two ways for two different levels of coverage. If sheer coverage is what you are looking for, you simply apply it with the sponge and you are done. For a more full-coverage look, the sales woman suggested mixing the powder with my moisturizer to make it more of a cream/powder consistency. I usually apply this powder right after I put on my morning moisturizer (before it has time to fully soak in to my skin) and it creates the perfect coverage I need! I will never go back to another foundation!
Highlighter: It took me a very long time to fully understand how to apply highlighter. Thankfully, there are several tutorials on Pinterest and I finally have it down! I apply my highlighter over my blush, on the bridge of my nose, right under the arch of my eye brows and in the inner corner of my eyes. I tend to go for the pricier brands of makeup (you get what you pay for), but actually my favorite brand of highlighter is Elf Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls. The best part...you can usually get in on Amazon for under $10!
Mascara: Up until about three years ago, I would use mascara that I typically bought at the drug store. Even after applying that mascara, I never had super long or super thick eye lashes and just thought that was how it would always be. When I discovered Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara... I was proven wrong! This mascara is absolutely AMAZING! Not only does it lengthen my lashes, but it also makes them seem thicker and fuller without looking like I used half the tube on one application. Just like the Chanel powder foundation, I will never use another mascara!
Lip Gloss: If you were to look in my makeup bag, you would see that about half of its contents are some form of lip gloss or lipstick. I tend to prefer darker shades of lipstick for fall, my favorite red lip stick the month of December and more neutral shades for the rest of the year. My absolute favorite lip gloss is Chanel Glossimer. It comes in many shades and I prefer it over other brands because it lasts for several hours before I have to reapply.
